MAI CHAU 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT TOUR

Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau Valley (L, D)

7:30 – 8:00 AM: Our bus and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in the Old Quarter. On the way, you will have a great opportunity to admire the beautiful landscapes of Vietnam’s mountainous countryside.

10:00 AM: Short break at Luong Son – Hoa Binh.

11:45 AM: Before arriving at Mai Chau Valley, often compared to a miniature Sapa, the bus will stop at White Stone Pass for you to take photos. Upon arrival at Poom Cong Village, you will visit a traditional stilt house of the Thai ethnic people and enjoy a delicious local lunch.

1:00 PM: After lunch, check in to your stilt house accommodation and relax.

2:30 PM: Follow the tour guide on a 20 km biking trip to explore the most picturesque villages around Mai Chau, including Poom Cong, Lac 1, Lac 2, Na Phon, and Chieng Sai. Along the way, admire the stunning scenery of lush green and golden rice fields, cornfields, and witness the daily life of the Thai people, such as farmers working in the fields and locals weaving scarves.

6:00 PM: Join a cooking class with a local chef and enjoy dinner at the homestay. Afterward, experience a traditional Thai ethnic performance and taste the local wine, Ruou Can. Overnight at a traditional stilt house.

Day 2: Mai Chau – Local Market & 1000 Steps Cave – Hanoi (B, L)

7:30 – 8:00 AM: Wake up and enjoy breakfast. Choose between two options for the morning:

Option 1: Easy Walking

8:30 – 11:30 AM: Visit a local market to see how the villagers conduct business and explore a variety of local products at budget-friendly prices. Continue your journey to 1000 Steps Cave (Hang Chieu), a breathtaking cave filled with magnificent stalactites in various shapes.

Option 2: Hard Trekking (10 km)

8:00 – 11:30 AM: Embark on a trekking adventure with a local guide to visit remote rural villages such as Na Meo, Na Mo, and Xam Pa. Experience the beauty of terraced fields and gain deeper insights into the culture and customs of the local people.

12:00 PM: Return to the stilt house for lunch.

1:00 – 3:30 PM: Free time for relaxation, shopping, walking around, or even joining local farmers in the fields. Afterward, board the bus for the return trip to Hanoi.

7:00 – 7:30 PM: Arrive in Hanoi and be dropped off at your hotel. End of the tour.
